ROB OLIVER - Trombone
Rob is our premier trombonist having gone to music school before
deciding to change career paths to become an ear, nose, and throat
physician. Rob toured Europe with his trombone before settling in the
Rochester area to work with the Rochester Otolaryngology Group, P.C.

STEVE WEBER - Trombone
Steve is a retired Xerox Human Resources
Manager. Retirement gives him plenty of time to work on his golf . When
he's not on the golf course, you might find him camping. His true love,
of course, is playing the trombone with the
Rochester
Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra. You may also
catch him with the Irondequoit Concert Band.

LAURA WHITBECK - Trombone
Laura Whitbeck recently moved to Rochester from Washington, DC, where
she played trombone with D.C.'s Different Drummers and DC Swing. When
she is not working as a librarian at Nixon Peabody, Laura plays with the
Greece Concert Band, the Pittsford Fire Department Band,
and the Rochester
Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra.

JOHN CURRIE - Trombone
In addition to playing with the Rochester Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra,
John also plays with the
Irondequoit Concert Band and the
Greece
Symphony Orchestra. He is a relatively new member to the group and is
doing a terrific job on the trombone. John is an engineering consultant
with Oakridge Engineering. He enjoys bicycling and brewing beer.
