GLENN ESTEY (Alto Saxophone) - Glenn is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Utah State in accounting. Currently he is a Real Estate Agent with Vincent Associates Real Estate specializing in investment properties. He studied clarinet with the principal clarinetist of the Utah Symphony for many years. He plays all woodwind instruments (except bassoon) and is currently clarinetist with The Smugtown Stompers Dixie Land Band.
KIRK STAMP (Tenor Saxophone) - Kirk was born and raised in the Rochester area. Kirk studied jazz performance at the Hochstein Music School with Carl Pelito and also played in the Hochstein’s Community Education Program’s Jazz combo. After Hochstein, Kirk attended the Eastman School of Music’s Community Education Program and played in their Jazz combo. Kirk has played with various bands around town and occasionally sits in with The White Hots. During the day, Kirk works in toner research at Xerox Corporation as a color scientist. Kirk is an avid skier during the winter and a yacht racer during the summer.
GEORGE HADGIS (Baritone Saxophone) - George started playing reed instruments at an early age. He has played in various concert bands and jazz ensembles in his home state of Maine, plus 2 years with The Ohio State University Concert Band. In addition to The Rochester Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra, he also plays with Grupo Calle Uno Salsa Band, and Different Every Time. On occasion, you can find him with Nostalgic Reunion and has sat in with Prime Time Funk. He has studied jazz performance at the Eastman School of Music with José Encarnación. George works during the day as an Engineering Manager with the Eastman Kodak Company.
